Charlotte Howard and The Hair Artist Association,LLC team is honored to have Cindy Tawiah join them on todays radio show. Cindy Tawiah was born in Ghana West Africa. The daughter of diplomats she travel extensively with her family. At the age of 16 her Chemistry teacher taught her how to make nail polish and lip stick . At the urging of her parents she went to England to study Nursing. As a RN she became frustrated because she felt she wasnt fulfilling her dreams. She left left nursing to pursue her passion in the Beauty Industry. She opened Shades of U Hair and Beauty in 2004. In 2007 she finally decided to follow her purpose, to create Diva by Cindy, a natural alcohol free hair care line with extreme detangling ability, a product which gives women longer, healthier hair. Diva by Cindy currently sold in 30 stores and had 15 independent sales reps. In January of 2011 the Diva by Cindy salon was opened. The salon specializes in hair care and retails the Diva by Cindy hair care line. the upper level of her salon is her Healing Centre. Cindy works with victims of domestic violence and gives them a day of healing a t her salon. She is also a motivational speaker.
