How does the ability to support one's self financially impact our sense of power? How is money used to control people and dis-empower them? What happens when self-sufficiency becomes possible? Is it ever appropriate to be financially dependent on another person for a season of life? What are the steps toward financial empowerment? Special guest, Carmel Jud, founder of Rise International will share inspiring stories of women finding financial freedom and self-determination in the U.S. and abroad through a unique international program she has created. Carmel Jud is Rising Internationals Founder & Executive Director. In 2002, Carmel gave up the successful business shed founded and built for 20 years and launched Rising International, the first non-profit to use the home party business model to contribute to solving poverty.
